I'm considering purchasing the Surface Book 2 (13.5", i7, 8GB RAM, 256GB) using a personal grant I was awarded (I'm a grad student). I'm trying to keep the cost at or below $2,000 before accessories, tax, and warranty. Are those specs, after considering the dGPU, enough for Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator? The work done with these programs are not SUPER intensive, mostly doing graphic work for science education and communicating my thesis, creating posters for presentation, etc.I would also want to multi-task while doing this, having 1 or 2 word documents open, having an Excel sheet open, and maybe 10 or less tabs in Chrome. So, what do you think?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
